As a 7th Generation builder spanning over 200+ years I have always had a love for creating and designing houses and Cabinets. As the Son of a Naval Commander I moved from Coast to Coast of the United States with my family. When we moved to a new town one of the first things to happen was my Dad setting up his shop in the garage so he could work with his children in the shop and teach us how to build. At 5 years old I got my first tool set including a hand saw for Christmas. My 8th Christmas I got my first electric drill. Just after I turned 9 years old my dad retired and we moved from 29 Palms California to Fredonia Arizona. What a difference and a dream for a 9 year old kid that loved the outdoors. My 9th Christmas I my parents got me a scroll saw. I think this saw was one of the most influential gifts I ever received. I set up a small business cutting wooden parts for the local crafters to paint. At 11 years old my mom or dad would drop me off at clients homes where i would design their furniture then go home and build it and get a ride back up to deliver it. At 15 years old I was designing and building kitchens.
At 19 years old I had the privilege to move to England for 2 years as a Representative for my Church and gained a love for people from all different backgrounds.
After selling out of one of my previous companies in the cabinet and furniture industry I decided to focus full time on designing and building homes. I have to say that I am in love with the process. For me sharing the experience with individuals of walking through a couple of our homes, Making a list of their needs and wants for their new home then going to work in designing their dreams is just an amazing experience. To be able to go from meeting someone to designing their dream home in a 4-8 hour process takes all I have to offer but it’s a high that I absolutely love.
